Today was better in the tech world. I really enjoyed and kept up for the most part on the presentations today. Infographics and AudioBoo will enhance my powerpoint presentations, WHEN I get the devices in my classroom.
However, I will not dwell on what I don't have but will make the BEST out of what I got. The session on Copyright was very helpful. Well tomorrow will be bittersweet. It will be my last day with Mrs. Latham, so that means presentation time. I must admit my presentation turned out better than I expected, which is good considering expectations were low on my part. Mrs. Latham did an AWESOME job keeping my encouraged about my artistic ability. Now its time to FOCUS on the lesson plan!!! GAETI 2014 is winding down!

Tuesday what a day!!!!! Canvass presentation was overwhelming, not hard just need more time to get a better grasp on it. I'm excited that the Copyright session is tomorrow. The countdown for the lesson plan is quickly approaching and I have not started on it. Mentally drained when I get home, and I don't have anything to work on it at home. That information probably does not shock any of you. Now you probably understand why my fear of not getting the projects completed is real. I thought there was going to be time to work on the projects during the day. So much information about technology that i want to learn, so I guess I got to break down and by me some thing for at home. I've put it off for way too long. What a day, what a day, hopefully it's better tomorrow!!!

I had a great time today. The sessions were really helpful. The presentations on iPad for the classroom gave more insight on how to use an iPad in the classroom. I hope I get some type of technology device to use in my classroom. My school district was looking into the apple tv. No one was interested in it, because we didn't know anything about it or how it could be utilized in the classroom. Thanks to GAETI I know more about it and hope to be the first to get one since I have some knowledge about it now. The weather hopefully just postponed the Copyright presentation. I really want to know what I'm doing wrong when it comes to copyright. Finally got all my pieces glued down in art now it's time to tackle the glass. Tomorrow will be interesting.

The common core presentation provided more insight on ways to cover the standards. I like the activities that were used during the presentation. Once again my mind is in information overload. The information is so helpful that I do not want to forget anything. I'm still trying to figure out some of the technology from the previous weeks. I will be spending July becoming more familiar with all this information and technology. Hopefully, I will have some type of tech equipment in my room this year.

Well, we received various resources today. I love getting free teaching resources. I'm in overwhelm mood again this lesson plan format is not complicated. I'm not use to writing plans this detailed. However it will be very helpful with meeting the Domain Planning on the MSTAR Evaluation. So, gotta go home and figure out how to get this lesson plan template figured out. I'm enjoying this workshop, but WOW information overload.

Today was a very productive session. The discussions were wonderful and full of advice. I am so glad we got a chance to actually looked at our school policy. Then we got to discuss things in it that could possibly hinder implementing technology more in the classrooms. We developed some ideas to try and get these things changed. We also discussed how we would take this information back to our districts and share with others. The discussion on MSTAR was helpful as well. Learning something new everyday of this workshop. Wow, so much information to process, I wish the workshop could have been recorded. I know I'm going to leave something out. Glad to be participating in this workshop. GO GAETI 2014
